It’s all happening at God’s House Tower in Southampton, so here’s some helpful tips and suggestions about what’s around and how to get there

Transport

Train
Southampton Central is 1 mile from the venue. There is a taxi rank on both sides. Exit the station following the signs for cruise terminals.

Parking
The closest car park is Gloucester Square. Eastgate multi storey car park and College Street car park are both 0.4 miles away as alternative options.

Parking is chargeable 08:00 – 00:00 and you can pay for parking with the PayByPhone app or at ticket machines.

We had a plan to visit as many restaurants in Southampton as we could so we could give personal recommendations and then we had a baby instead… so here’s a mix of personal recommendations, word of mouth and trip advisor suggestions. 

Walking distance from the venue:

  • La Regata (Spanish tapas)
  • Ennio’s (Italian) 
  • Dancing Man Brewery (gets busy so would recommend booking) 
  • Maritimo Lounge 
  • Ottoman Kitchen (Turkish)
  • Beity Restaurant (Lebanese)

WestQuay – lots of chain options including:

  • Bills
  • L’Osteria
  • Zizzi
  • Franco Manca
  • Las Iguanas
  • The Real Greek
  • Thaikhun 

Further away but our favourites:

  • Mango Thai Tapas 
  • Popsi’s Pizza (very small so would recommend booking)
  • Piecaramba (also very small so would recommend booking)
  • 7Bone Burgers
